Giveaway – Vintage Fashion Fair London Tickets

IMG00725 20101114 1439 Giveaway Vintage Fashion Fair London Tickets

I am lucky enough to have been given 5 pairs of tickets to giveway for Vintage Fashion Fair London in Primrose Hill on 8th July. The fair is one of London’s most well established Vintage Fairs and has a great selection of stalls with good quality vintage clothing, accessories and textiles from a variety of decades. All of the stallholders are friendly and knowledgable. You will find plenty of affordable pieces from pretty summer dresses to original vintage swimwear and fantastic accessories which can be used to accessorise and add a little interest to any outfit.

Buying vintage clothing is not only a great way to minimise the impact of your shopping on the environment but is also a great way to get something a little different to the clothes that you will find on the high street.

There will also be the opportunity for hair styling and make up from the 20′s – 70′s whichever look takes your fancy!

If you are feeling a little thirsty after all that shopping, there is a great little cafe downstairs at Cecil Sharp House which has delicious homemade food and sweet treats. The perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon with one of your fashion loving friends!

If you would like to win one a pair of tickets, please leave a comment underneath with your email address. If I recieve more than 5 entries by (Wednesday next week) 27th June then I will draw names from a hat (vintage of course). Winners will recieve their pair of tickets by email.

Change The World Of Modelling

Today I wanted to share a video with you. The video has been made by Samantha of Samanthasbreadandbutter to explain why she should be the next model for BCBG’s Spring Summer 2013 in a competition that they are running! Samantha is also an advocate of sustainability, and the health and well being of all models and people! She works with both a Project Facilitator for the Green Shows and social media supporter for Old School Ventures.

I have decided to vote for Samatha because I love her ‘less is more’ philosphy. Not only is she a supporter of ethical fashion but she encourages a positive attitude to body image with a focus on wellbeing which helps to develop a healthy and radiant look. She believes that beauty comes from the inside out and also comes with confidence. I think she will provide a fantastic role model and if she wins and becomes a supermodel, will be a step in the right direction in creating change within the fashion industry.

What do you think? Should Samantha win? You can help her to win by voting for her here.

With warmest wishes
