When the lovely Vicky of Kinky Melon Retro Boutique and Vintage Vixon blog mentioned that she would be at Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair in Bath, I decided to pop along with my daughter to say hi and of course have a browse as it feels like ages since I last went to a vintage fair. I have been reading Vintage Vixon for years and it was great to meet Vicky who was just as stunning in real life as on her blog and equally lovely.
The Kinky Melon stall (pictured with Vicky and Jon above) is crammed full of both men’s and women’s vintage clothes with a focus on reasonable prices. I treated myself to a fab maxi skirt for a tenner and a bag for my daughter for £8 (below).
As you can see from the pictures the Guildhall in Bath is a stunning location for a vintage fair and the fair also definitely lived up to its name of ‘afforadable’ with a great selection of really affordable pieces. I also bought myself a parka jacket for £25 to keep me going through the winter and into festival season next year and a woollen check scarf. I have seen acrylic versions of these all over the high street but mine cost just £4 and there were baskets of them to choose from!
What are you doing this weekend? Hope you have a lovely time.
With warmest wishes
