Cardigans and Cosiness!

I have been working in an office for over a month now and I am afraid it has been a big fat fail for me posting any of my work outfits. In fact I have barely had time to post at all and the light is seriosuly challenging my photograph attempts. Hopefully now I am settled in a bit I can make some more time.

Any way here is one work outfit that I did actually manage to photograph and it is probably one of my favourite work outfits at the moment. The dress is made from organic cotton so is really comfy to wear. Sitting in at a computer for 8 hours a day, comfort has become one of my prime concerns when getting dressed in the morning. With air conditioning in the office, I also really feel the cold and cardigans are more comfy and cosy than jackets (although) I do wear those aswell. My old grandad cardigan that I wear when working from home sadly won’t really cut it for the office.

My winter wardrobe has always been a bit lacking in the cardigan department, partly because when the children were younger and I was rushing around all of the time I always felt too hot. So I have decided to invest in a few new cardigans from Oxfam. I love shopping at Oxfam as not only does it save me money (you can get some seriously cosy cashmere for under £30) but I also feel like I am doing my bit for the planet and helping to support a fantastic charity. Here are a few of my favourites at Oxfam Fashion, apart from the ones I bought which I hope to share in some outfit posts soon.

Brown sequin cardigan – size 12 – I can never resist a bit of sparkle!

Grey Cashmere Cardigan – this looks great for cocooning yourself in on a really cold day.

Grey Chunky Cardigan – size M (BNWT) Loving the boho tassels on this one.

Have you dusted off your cardigans and coats for autumn yet? If you need extra warmth and can’t find what you want from Oxfam, there is also a great selection of ethically made and fair trade cardigans at style is…Stay cosy!

With warmest wishes
