5 Days of People Tree Dresses

Some how last week, I managed to wear dresses by People Tree for five day in a row although I didn’t get round to photographing one of them (a plain navy blue dress). It wasn’t exactly deliberate although something must of put People Tree in my head. Perhaps that I have just recently treated myself to 2 new dresses in the People Tree sale. I love People Tree dresses as they are flattering fits and pretty styles, they are just so easy to wear. You can check out the People Tree sale in style is… for some great discounts.

Orla Kiely People Tree DressThis dress is from the Orla Kiely designer collection at People Tree. I had been looking at it on the site for a while bit didn’t have the chance to buy it. So when it went into the sale, armed with Christmas money, I grabbed it quick. I love this dress, it is so me and really comfy too. I have worn it here with People Tree leggings and Melissa shoes (again). For colder days I just add a red cardigan that I got in a charity shop.

This Tanya Cocktail Dress was one of my sales purchases. It has pretty white embroidery at the shoulders and pockets although you can’t really see it very well in this picture. I have worn it here with a red belt swapped at the Good Fashion Show, a vintage scarf from the goody bag of the Birdcage Bristol Bloggers Christmas party and shoes by Melissa.

Laura Ashley Print People Tree Dress

I got this dress a year or two ago and it features a print from the Laura Ashley archives with the colours updated to give it modern appeal. I am wearing it with a handmade obi belt and my trusty Dream in Green (my favourite sustainable shoe brand) Ankle Boots.

red people treeLastly I wore this red dress by People Tree that I have had for a few years, This was originally bought as a party dress. But as I don’t go to that many parties and it is so comfy, I prefer to wear it with leggings for every day. It was once desribed by a designer I was working with as ‘fierce’ and I will have to agree, it is not one for days when I want to blend into a crowd. The leggings are again by People tree and the shoes (well I am sure you know they are Melissa by now).

I hope you are having a good Monday and managing to keep nice and warm. Seems like just about everyone has had snow accept us, we will just have to be content with freezing cold rain. Have you had snow yet?

With warmest wishes
