Today I though I would wear an unusually minimalist outfit for me, in order to show off the beautiful scarf that I have just been sent by Hoss Intropia.
Anyone who reads this blog will know that I am a huge fan of scarves so naturally when Hoss Intropia contacted me to see if I would like to recieve a Limited Edition scarf for them, naturally I couldn’t refuse. A scarf can completely transform an outfit and at this time of year are also really cosy and warm. This scarf is really big making it great for wrapping yourself up in and is made of a mixture of cotton and bamboo so is lovely and soft. The colours of this scarf are really beautiful and incredibly versatile going with so many different outfit. It draped just perfectly making it a completely effortless accessory to wear, great for those days when you are in a rush.
Hoss Intropia also told me a little about their commitment to sustainability and ethical practices. Which I was of course really interested to hear about.
As part of our policy of Social Corporate Responsability, we launched a collection last season in collaboration with Fabrics for Freedom Foundation to help promote different types of producers and offer them marketing possibilities
through its distribution channels. The collection included pottery handcrafted by Argentinian families using non toxic pigments, baskets created by weavers –both men and women- of the Fra Fra etnic group in Bolgatanga who preserve their native culture working under fair-trade standards, and many other collaborations that now give work today to thirty families in Buenos Aires. help women affected by HIV / AIDS…
Their World Selection collection for AW 2012 will be available soon, I will share more information as soon as I have it.
I hope you are having a good week. I am really looking forward to the weekend. A rare night out and an extra hour in bed when the clocks change plus my new ethical fashion website will hopefully be ready, finger crossed I can share next week. Do you have any fun plans for the weekend?
With warmest wishes
