Once the weather starts to get really cold a pair of sturdy shoes or boots is just what you need. I always consider a great pair of winter boots and a winter boot as a key investment buy. If you choose well they will last you for years and will become a key wardrobe staple when keeping warm becomes just as important (and sometimes even more so) than looking stylish.
I am definitely a big fan of kind of worker style boots worn with thick tights and a dress in the autumn and winter, it doesn’t have to be all jeans and jumpers! These boots made by my favourite brand Dream in Green in collaboration with Mjus. The leather has been vegetable tanned which has less of an impact on the environment than conventional leather tanning.
I also love these boots by Pikolinos which would look great with jumper dresses with a pair of tights. The distressed leather and strap and buckle on these boots makes them perfect for wearing with most casual winter dresses. They are again made using vegetable tanned leather.
Made from delicately scented recyclable plastic, this Mel ankle boots are definitely the trendy girls answer to the wet weather. Perfect for rainy days, muddy car boot fields and everyday outfits, these boot combine both style and practicality.
Which boots do you like best for winter?
With warmest wishes
