Lemon is not the only fruit

Jacket and scarf – Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair Bath
Organic Jeans – M & S
Boots – Dream in Green
Striped top – high street shop
necklace – Made UK

Today I am wearing the vintage sixties jacket and a scarf that I picked up at the fair last weekend for a bargainous £3 for both. I really love the colour of the jacket.

I realised the huge difference that wearing the right colours (mine being red, orange and yellow) makes. I hardly had to put any make up on this morning and I looked reasonably human. With some colours, I find it doesn’t really matter how much make up I put on, I still look drained and tired.

Of course I can’t always stick to wearing these colours and I sometimes just have to go for a pale pink or bright turquoise even when I know it won’t suit me. Life would pretty boring wearing the same few colours all the time.

What do you think? do you know what your best colours are? do you just stick to wearing these colours? Would you be interested in a post about how to find your best colours?

With warmest wishes

Ps really struggling with getting good pictures today. I tried 2 different cameras, the first ended up a bit fuzzy and the second had too much sunshine through the window, I kind of like how it makes the yellow glow though.

    • Thanks, ha ha I didn’t realise I had posted it yet, I meant to put some writing with it!

  1. Yellow really looks great on you. It’s perfect with you skin tone. I think it’s only when you try something in a colour that really suits you that you realise what a difference it makes!
