I haven’t posted a Tuesday treats for a few weeks but with all the miserable weather at this time of year, I thought we could all do with a little something to cheer us up. I love recycled jewellery, not only because it is eco friendly (obviously) but also because it is often a little different to the usual stuff that you might find on the high street. I like my jewellery to really stand out and become a talking point and here are a few of the pieces of recycled jewellery that I have spotted recently that would do just that. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it is always handy to drop a few hints, just in case!
Jacqueline Brill makes jewellery using recycled and vintage finds. Each piece of her jewellery is handmade and unique.
Rachel Helen Designs is another fantastic jewellery designer who uses recycled materials to make her jewellery. Her jewellery is available from Notonthehighstreet.com
Love It Jewellery is made from 96% recycled and vintage materials and for each purchase 15% is donated to Save the Turtles. The company is US based but shipping (inc internationally) is free.
La Jewellery is handmade in rural Wales from sustainable and recycled materials often reclaimed from industrial processes. The collection is available from Ethical Superstore and also includes men’s jewellery.
What do you think? would you like to recieve any of these pieces of recycled jewellery from a loved one on Valentines Day?
With warmest wishes
