I seem to be suffering from severe technical issues at the moment. For the last three days I have been completely without a blog, a big problem with the servers at the hosting company, today my internet connection has been wavering between very slow and non existent and to top it all my camera has an inermittant problems, meaning it only works sometimes and generally that is not when I really want it too! Never mind at least the sun is shining and the weather is beautiful.
As my camera gave up when I was at the IFB Crystals and Crumets tea party last month, I didn’t manage to get a photograph of my outfit. Thanks to Christine at IFB, who agreed that I could use the photograph from taken by their official photographer. If you want to read more about the event you can do so in my post – IFB Crystals and Crumpets.
My dress was one that had been languishing in the loft for a number of years. I found it during a recent clearout and was delighted to find that fitted, perhaps my policy of virtually never throwing anything out is a good one. It was just as satisfying as buying a new dress as I haven’t seen it for ages. It also seems to fit well with both the retro forties/ fifties looks and polka dots that are so on trend at the moment. The fascinator was from the Libertarian who had a stall at last years Vintage at Goodwood. The shoes are by Irregular Choice.
I hope that you are enjoying the beautiful weather
With warmest wishes
